Meet Phat Bui
Phat Bui has called Garden Grove home for more than 40 years. He raised his family here, built a business, and has dedicated years of service to the community. As a former Garden Grove Councilmember and Planning Commissioner, Phat knows how City Hall works and how to make it work better for our residents.
Today, Phat serves as a Commissioner on the Orange County Housing and Community Development Commission and as Chairman of the Vietnamese American Federation of Southern California. He is running for Garden Grove City Council to bring accountability, protect taxpayer dollars, and deliver real results for our community.

Garden Grove families and businesses deserve safe neighborhoods. Phat will make public safety a top priority, ensuring Garden Grove police officers and firefighters have the resources, staffing, and technology they need to reduce crime, protect our families, and keep our neighborhoods secure.
Demand Results on Homelessness
The homelessness crisis is hurting our neighborhoods and businesses. Phat will require measurable results from every taxpayer-funded program, enforce city laws to remove illegal encampments, and connect those who want help with mental health treatment, substance abuse services, and housing resources.
Protect Taxpayer Dollars
Garden Grove residents work hard for their money and deserve a City Hall that spends it wisely. Phat will demand responsible budgeting, greater transparency, and real accountability for every dollar spent. He will oppose unnecessary tax increases and work to eliminate government waste.
